Directly. They will resolve the issue much faster than through the app.

I have called 311 on multiple occasions about this same house for different things. they still let their dog bark all night, and they still water whenever they want. They told me they can only send out a letter and a fine. after that, it is up to me to take them to court for further actions. seems a bit ridiculous to me. I always thought if you basically abandon a dog outside and its barking late at night about noise ordinance levels, they police or county would have someone show up and have the owners do something about it. But I find out they can water when they want, and let their dog bark, and I have to spend money out of my pocket to take them to court for a dog barking and wasting water. Good thing my tax dollars are hard at work........

You may want to double check your info, I don't believe the County actually has watering restrictions set like the City does. Also it's more up to the water district I set restrictions and I believe the responsible company doesn't have any and doesn't plan on adding any. Might be why your having a hard time getting things resolved

@molon labe. love the username btw and the honest feedback. I thought I had done proper research before posting. The Sac County water sources site states tues, thurs and sat before 6am or after 8pm. I could be mistaken, but I am going off what I have researched. Also not to make it sound like I have a grudge against this household, but there are many violations at this residence with no resolve. They also have admitted to knowing such and not caring, while trying to provoke me to "sue them."

In Sac City it's the water district who issues the citations. Check with American Water, if that's your provider too, to check if they do for our area.

That means it is suggested but not mandatory
