This request inadvertently did not get directed to me under the "other" category. I have forwarded this information to the Director of Public Works for resolution.

The hydrant in question was recently inspected and flushed during the town wide hydrant flushing, (within approx. past 2-3 weeks) and is functioning properly and secure. The Director stated that the bonnet cap is secure and not a safety issue it is cosmetic and will eventually be replaced.
