Description
Rain runoff from Goldsmith Street is running under my house. Mud has covered my driveway and has clogged my driveway drain. This has been happening for over a year due to the property developers at the corner of Randolph and Goldsmith not being required by the city to install silt fencing. This along with the new street gutter on Goldsmith that was tied into my preexisting driveway drain by the city has only compounded the problem because the small driveway drain cannot handle the load from the street, with or without mud and debris. See previously closed incidents 1818618 and 2127073 for reference. Please help.

The City’s Engineering Department has been out to the property and asked the contractor to install an erosion control barrier, which he did, but there appears to be a continuing problem. We have been back to the site and asked contractor to put in a silt fence along Goldsmith to better control the drainage. We will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate measures as needed.
