I put down Wesleyan but this occurs pretty much everywhere. Houston needs to utilize their ramp meters more. It seems that they run on a timer and not based on when traffic is actually slowed down. I got on the 59 one Sunday and traffic was slow. No biggie. But when I got on, the ramp meter was off. Doesn't this defeat the purpose of ramp meters, not using them? I am from California and they make a huge difference. Thank you for your consideration.

The city does not do anything with the freeways. Those are handled at the state level. You should contact TxDot with your recommendation.
