Description
My house has the most utility boxes of the whole block and now AT&T and Google are adding tow more boxes, my front yard is a complete mess and an eye sore because of it.
Is there anything anyone can do to stop this?
Why are they all in my yard? Some neighbors dont have any.

Thank you for reaching out to us. From the picture you have provided, we certainly understand your frustration. We reached out to Huntsville Utilities to gather more information and they informed us that the developer of the subdivision agreed to have the electric transformer placed on this lot when he/she agreed to the electric infrastructure design, and when he/she paid for the Aid-to-Construction. Huntsville Utilities did tell us they have a process in place to remove utility boxes and you can contact the Huntsville Utilities Engineering Services Department at 256-535-1315 to discuss the process as well as any fees associated with the removal. We have also reached out to several of our own departments who have concerns for property owners with the same problem so we can begin working together toward a long-term resolution. This is all we can do at this time, so we are closing the work order; however, feel free to contact us at 256-427-5000 if you wish to further discuss.
Thank you,

You are telling me that someone in 2006 approved the nightmare of boxes and so now I have no say, and I have to accept three more boxes added to my already heavy load?
Why is there is no limit to how many one resident has to accept, why is this allowed, the damage that AT&T has caused to my whole front yard is severe and I am going to snap soon if anyone else comes and does yet more damage.
I have attached pictures for your enjoyment..they broke my water line and water was gushing into the ground and I could not shower to get ready for work, because I HAD NO WATER for hours, and I am supposed to pay that water bill?
I put tree branches on the curb for pick up but they threw them in the street because they got in their way, they did not place back on the curb and are still in the street.
They patched my grass up by throwing the torn shredded pieces in the holes they dug out.
I should not have to suffer any further with any more boxes.
I am furious and confused as to how this is allowed to happen.
I do not want any more boxes on my front lawn, and I want to have a say in how many more you can allow to be added.
Its not fair that I have spent every last penny I own on my home to make it beautiful and to fit in this area and all my hard work and money goes up in smoke because you are okay with the destruction that they did.
The city of Huntsville has the power to say no to this and yet you refuse.
If the lawn is not mine then why am I spending money and time maintaining it, the city of Huntsville should be doing that for the front part?
I came home to a devastated lawn, it will never recover in this hot weather.
I cant afford to fix it, now what?
I am new to this state and you will need to help me with this.
Thank you.

I also dont know if my water lines were repaired properly once the workers broke them and the ground where they did the repairs has sunk.
I am angry and frustrated with the whole process and I feel that my rights are not being preserved.
If someone gave permission years and years ago that does not mean I have to, as I am the new owner and whatever was agreed upon that long ago does not mean additional boxes can be added every day until my lawn and house disappear.
Thank you,

I was never asked by AT&T for permission to dig up my property I came home one day and they had already added yet another utility box.
And tgey returned to dig my yard yet again without permission, they said the city gave permission.
Now google and comcast are slso coming and they too will dig up my yard without my permission.
I do not give permission and will not consent to more boxes added to my already heavily loaded from yard.
The city of Huntsville needs to take some responsibilty for what is happening here.
What will happen if other companies want to come abd put in more boxes and dig up my yard yet again?
Why do I not have any rights as a tax paying law abiding citizen and why do I not have rights over my own property and will I need to hire an attorney in order to preserve those rights?
I DO NOT CONSENT FOR ANY COMPANY TO DIG UP OR ADD ANY UTILITY BOXES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
This is my home that is being destroyed.
Please acknowledge and resolve.
Thank you.
