Today, there was a car COMPLETELY blocking a crosswalk at 37th and 50th St., where was a garage sale and I asked if anyone knew whose car it belonged to, so they could ask them to move it. Everyone at the sale verbally attacked me, stating that it wasn't hurting anyone. I replied, "nobody except pedestrians, who might be greatly inconvenienced or put at risk, by not being able to use the ramp, especially those with strollers, wheelchairs, or canes, and made it difficult for cars in both directions to make turns and see approaching cars. Breaking the law to park illegally was completely selfish and inconsiderate of others." Then, I merely repeated that they had the choice to have someone move it or I was going to report it and proceeded to take a photo of the car. While I was using the 311 app, someone moved the car.
