The street lights at the intersection of 100 Street & 101 Avenue (which appear to be on the same control circuit as the ones along 100 Street between 100 & 101 Avenues) often seem to turn on a bit "late" IMO. By the time they come on (11:02 pm tonight) it is already pretty dark out. I think it is compromising pedestrian safety somewhat -- particularly when the darkness issue is combined with the backlighting from the electronic "billboards" at that intersection. Certainly it would feel safer as a pedestrian if the street lights came on a bit sooner than they currently do.

When I submitted this issue, the automated email reply I received said that "If the street lamp reported is maintained by ATCO Electric, your issue will be forwarded to them and closed on our SeeClickFix account."
Now you are saying that that email was a lie and that I have to contact ATCO Electric myself? So why does the City send an automated reply saying they will forward it to ATCO, if you're saying that you don't forward it to ATCO?
Furthermore, I thought downtown lights were handled by the City and not by ATCO. The information that was provided when I submitted this issue certainly implied that.
Overall it's just really confusing all the conflicting information about what needs to be reported to the City vs what to ATCO, and on who is responsible for contacting ATCO. I get the feeling that the City really doesn't care.
