Is the tree on city property or your property? If in area between sidewalk and street, the tree belongs to the city, if in your yard the tree is your responsibility.
This will affect who is responsible for the trees trimming or removal.
The news today stated that the cities urban forestry dept. would be surveying the trees in our area and make a decision as to which ones would have to be removed at that time.
