City Hall – DR assigned this issue to License Commission - AB (Noise)

Thank you for reporting your concern to City of Cambridge via Commonwealth Connect. We have reviewed the information you provided our staff and will be investigating this issue further.

Chief Investigator Boyer is looking into the issue.

The complaint has been investigated multiple times. Each time, our investigator has found no violation of the noise ordinance. However, our investigator has negotiated with Verizon and Verizon has agreed to take measures to address the complaint. Stainless enclosures have been installed, and acoustic quilts have been ordered and are scheduled to be installed when delivered within the next two months. In addition, our investigator will be meeting with Verizon representatives within the next two weeks to continue monitoring the progress.
