The 2nd house in on Wilmington Street from North Main is filled with yard debris & junk. It is disgusting. Their are rats, cats etc. going from my house, the neighbor house next door to me. I can't even put up my son's hoop to play outside..We had to recently purchase new garbage cans. It is out of control and for far too long..Please do something!

When is something going to be done about this? It's almost a month and nothing has been cleaned up. The mice, cats and animals are too much.

Orders have been sent to the two offending properties we discussed on the phone this morning (Monday 08-01-16)
Monetary fines will be levied and increased enforcement for non-compliance.

A Monetary Ticket (Fine) has been sent to the property owner for his failure to abate the Nuisance ORDER which was previously sent to the property owner.
Failure of the property owner to either pay the fine within 21 days, or request hearing on the matter will result in immediate escalated enforcement action against the property owner with the Court.
I'll update on the status of this matter accordingly. Thank you.

An ORDER TO ABATE was sent to the offending property owner. Upon re-inspection, the property appears to be in reasonable compliance at this time. However, this property will be monitored going forward to ensure future compliance.
