I was riding with my kids. Cars here force us into really fast traffic.

Money was spent on upper Broadway striping bike lanes (both sides) and the center double yellow, and some parking was eliminated. Yet no money was spent installing “No Parking” signs or painting the curbs red from the College Prep School up to the Kay Overcrossing at Caldecott Field. On weekends and holidays cars are illegally parked in the bike lane before Lake Temescal, cars are also illegally parked in the bike lane near Caldecott Field whenever there’s a game, and with a lack of illegal parking & speed enforcement it is only a matter of time before a bicyclist gets injured.

Still an issue. This is from Sunday Aug 14, 3:30pm. I was biking with my 3 year old and cars in the bike lane force us into fast, speeding traffic.

11:20am August 21. We were biking with our 8 year old (pictured) and a 5 and 3 year old on my bike. We were yet again forces into the faster traffic due to vehicles parked in the lane. This is not ok.

4pm August 21. Many more cars. You can see a cyclist in the back having to pass all these parked cars.
