According to the state DOT, the road apparently is a town road, Robbins Ave. Both town and state plows clear it during the winter, so I am somewhat confused. In the 330 days since this has been reported, I've received numerous messages from S-C-F about missing dogs and successfully filled potholes. The Town of Newington has found the time and money to repave where it parks its buses (why the old lot was bad, I can't say) and to create a new parking lot for pee-wee football parents. Through all this, the road on Robbins Ave eastbound remains rutted. We know where the priorities are in Newington.

Still not paved. Nearby secondary roads have been paved in the meantime, and the town also put in a nice lot at the pee-wee football field down the street. They have priorities, after all.

Gee, still not paved. Worse than ever and now extending 1300 feet both east and west of the intersection. Better pave another pee-wee football field or the bus lot or something really important.

Being paved this week. And ruined too, as they're now making it a "complete street" and doing that "road diet" trash to it so that there will be fewer lanes. So happy that I reported it here and they got straight to it. Highly recommend.
