Yeah, this is ridiculous. Burned out houses should not be allowed to sit derelict. Due to safety AND neighborhood blight issues. Is this even legal?

This property is actually on the City Council's agenda today. City staff will request an ordinance to demolish the dwelling.

Council adopted an unsafe ordinance on the property. Staff will be moving forward with asbestos testing and bidding out the project, once this is completed we will have to route the contract. It will be approximately 60 days before it will be demolished.
