I agree with Miss Shelley. As a grandparent picking up a child at the daycare center on that alley, the parking lot is a "one way" so there is no other way out of the parking lot except through the alley which has holes so deep that my small child says "whoa" every time we drive through it even going very, very slow as to not ruin my car. When the holes are filled in they last about 3 days and are always filled with water from the rains. The traffic right there from the lot to the alley is high and necessary as there is no way out of the lot unless you back out onto Allen Road.
It doesn't make sense for the city to waste their money and time filling in the holes every few months instead of taking the time to pave it. There would be a lot of parents and grandparents very grateful if it was paved as this is very hard on the wear and tear of their vehicles.

This is a very dangerous alley and needs to be paved. The alley needs to be walked thru to be able to enter the daycare. When it rains the "lakes" immediately appear. Then in winter these turn into skating rinks, and are dangerous. The deep holes that appear make it very difficult to drive thru and could damage the bottoms of the cars easily.

I agree I have a jeep Cherokee and it is rough even for me. It is also bad as it jerks the children in their car seats. In rain or snow it is really bad. Small cars can barely make it and there is gong to end up with a serious injury or car repair. Since this is a daycare it should be a higher priority

any updates on this issue? We still are in need of rocks!!!

Thank you for reporting this issue. We are aware of the issue of potholes in the alley and have filled the potholes with gravel earlier this year.

Hi Cheryl. Even though the holes were filled earlier this year, they are huge again. The traffic going thru the lot is busy and this is why we are ALL asking that this alley be paved. The money, time and employee payroll would justify the money spent to pave it. Especially because it needs to be done several times a year. Please take this into consideration as we are all ruining our cars because we have to go through these deep holes. It's the only way out of the lot. Please feel free to drive thru there so that you can witness firsthand the horrible pits. Thank you
