This area is a well known illegal dumping, illegal camping area. Trash pickup should be on a regular basis. Start holding people accountable, they can do community service, whether they like it or not.

So this crap is still there. Is public works held accountable. Don't close until it's done. Someone really needs to look into why these issues are closed and nothing's done.

We neighbors are still living in a dumping ground!

I've lived here for 11 years, this block used to attract dumping, but the people living in cars have attracted a new height of junk and illegal activity of all sorts.

City leaders and public works need a real shake up within their departments. Nothing ever gets done

Just because SCF gives me reminders of how long my reports have been 'open' I remind OPWs that just because the park was emptied, did nothing for the accumulation of people, tents, food waste, human waste, rodents, and other illegal activities in this area. Two years now....and a tent popped up under 580 on West Street last night. When will the City act?

Ongoing. No action taken. Mountain of garbage is gross. I have to walk in street, no room on sidewalk. Unjust situation for tax payers.

Still open. Encampment larger than ever.

Many more new campers.

Large trash heaps grow daily. New City budget with strategies for the mess here and throughout Oakland. Who knows when we can expect see the results?
