I don't believe every other week is often enough.

You stated on 06/06/16 the Florida Dept of Health gave Treasure Island Beach a poor rating. This beach needs to be cleaned and raked more often than every other week. I have been informed that Madeira Beach is cleaned twice a week!

The poor rating 6/6/16 from Pinellas County FL Healthy Beaches Program 'with no advisory' was for bacteria levels in the water. It was stated that this may be from the turbidity caused by the storm. You can find this report on the Pinellas County Gov't web site.
As far as raking.. The FWC needs to relocate the turtle nests that were disturbed by the storm. The City cannot rake until this is completed. As of 6/8/16, the FWC has not released us for raking.
