Good Luck! I have been dealing with this issue for several years with nothing being done. My family was one of the first families to move into this neighborhood and sad to say this is the end result. Owner is NOT held accountable to keep property clean until such time he rents or sells the property. People such as the owner is what is bringing down this city as city is not holding property owners accountable to maintain property. Too much rental property that is not being maintained. I sometimes wonder if it would help to start a petition?!?!?

At least David Davis got the city to cut the rite of way! After 4 years of trying to get someone to help he is the only one that took an interest!
Such a shame that the property owner has no interest in cleaning up this property which only helps to totally disintegrate the whole area!

So true and yes, David Davis IS the only city official that has shown any interest since I have been dealing with this eye sore. No one will answer my question as to why any property owner is not held accountable for property. I totally agree with the 'yazzle' that selected areas are where priority lies with the city! We need beautification everywhere in this city! I do my part along with a few homeowners in this neighborhood.

I would think when property like this is a menace to the city they would force the property owner to clean it up ! This property is home to drugs, crime and vandals!

Who's responsibility is it to MAKE the owner keep the grass cut????? I can't believe this. What a joke? I guess part of the problem is the property is not in the right neighborhood. What good is the site if Macon Bibb County is not going to hold this person accountable to maintain property?!?!? I guess it can grow up so high we won't see the run down buildings.

Passing the buck is the only answer this neighborhood has received for the past 4 years! I guess if we lived closer to Mercer we might get some attention!
