My neighbor across the street from me burns wood on his side front lawn. The smoke covers across my house heavy and the order is alarming as well. Closing my Windows doesn't help. The burning last for 4 to 5 hours and has sickened me at times. I've almost called the fire department, because the smell was so close, I thought a nearby building was on fire. Yesterday, May 31, 2016, my neighbor had so much smoke from his open fire pit, I awoke this morning with my throat feeling like I had inhaled toxic smoke. I hope there is a open fire ordinance so my neighbor can relocate his fire pit to his back yard, so the smoke can go through his house, before reaching mine. I just purchased his home, last year in July. I hope not to get ill from the fumes, because I do not know what my neighbor burns in it besides wood,but the wood he burns smells like a house is on fire. Please help.
