The home is located at 715 south main street. - The issue is the sidewalk is a patchwork of asphalt and not concrete. It is broken in spots and someone could trip and be injured. a new pot hole recently showed up and needs to be filled.

Directly in front of the house in the road is a "dip" not a pothole but a "dip" where the road fills with water when it rains. cars drive thru this and send large amounts of water on our walkway into the home. additionally the sidewalk is an eyesore.

This photo shows an example of the lack of "curb" that should separate the road from the sidewalk. The side walk needs to be replaced. It would be nice to see a new concrete sidewalk put in.

The Department of Public Works - Highway Division policy is to first address sidewalks along designated school walking routes by order of severity. After that, filling in sections along designated school walking routes that do not have sidewalks. With that said, we have documented this notification with the Department of Public Works- Highway Division for their consideration within a developing Sidewalk Maintenance Master Plan.
