Description
Since I have to yet to see anything done for this issue I will keep making complaints until something is done or until I get hit by a speeding car not stopping for me in the crosswalk. I think the latter will happen first though

Agreed--as a driver and a pedestrian. Not sure why, but compared to Somerville, Arlington, Cambridge, Melrose, etc. drivers in Medford seem to be far more aggressive toward pedestrians and cyclists. A lot of it has to do with road infrastructure and utter lack of traffic calming measures in Medford as compared to surrounding communities. I.e., a street that looks like a 40 mph straightaway will be treated as such even if (occasionally faded) crosswalks are painted.
This particular intersection is a pedestrian hotspot -- a bus stop and park and historical site across from a large apartment complex -- but also a confusing and frustrating intersection for motorists.
