i just saw this on sunday so was thinking about ways to notify those in charge and this jumped in front of me. i will email councilor haller as well. even if it's not immediate, something needs to get done eventually because they really are a hazard. with all of the ADA attention on the restaurants on shrewsbury street and their outside dining, i'd like to see what they say about the accessibility on these sidewalks...

If there is a hole in the sidewalk we would need the exact location and an estimate size of the hole so that a work order can be submitted to the Street Division it to be safety patched. We do have a work order that was entered on 3-4-10 regarding the pipe sticking up on the sidewalk at #53 William Street. If the one you are referring to is at a different address please provide us with the exact location and we will notify the Water Division.
