The crosswalk at First street & Otis street is extremely dangerous. Cars coming down First street toward the traffic light almost never stop for pedestrians in their race to catch the light - I've seen a lot of near misses. I'm not sure if better signage or enforcement would help but it really needs to be addressed.

In order to increase the conspicuity of this crosswalk, we have directed our crews to install crosswalk warning signs on both sides of the roadway. We will also share this information with the Cambridge Police Department to suggest directed crosswalk enforcement on First Street.
