Thank you for contacting the City of Richmond, Division of Property Maintenance Code Enforcement. We are sorry but in order for the department to proceed on this complaint, we will need your help in determining the correct location of the property in question. A specific address is needed because our Code Enforcement system is incapable of citing an intersection/block. Please call our office at (804) 646-6398 so that we may further assist you in this matter.
I am not sure why this is a problem, as the school's address has always been 1031-1101 Fourqurean Lane. It is NOT a whole block, it is an abandoned school and surrounding school grounds. If anyone had bothered to actually check in tbe system, they would have seen that the property address is listed in every City system as 1031-1101 Foururean. If anyone had bothered to look at the property, it would have been obvious that it is ONE SINGLE location, NOT an entire block. Typing 1031 or 1101 into the system would probably pull up the property, as doing just that on the City property tax page, or a number if other pages on the City website, bring the school property up. I also wonder why it has taken a month for this response, and why the issue is marked "closed", when it clearly is not.
The Property Maintenance Division for the City of Richmond has received your complaint; however it appears that this request is a service that is handled by the Department of Public Works. We are closing this issue and for further information and processing, you may wish to contact them at (804) 646-6430 Thank you.
