Hello, we are a new business located a couple blocks out of inman square. I am also a resident of inman and bicycle around Cambridge on a daily basis. I would like to promote bicycling around the city by having a rack installed in front of WuBurger Gourmet. We think it would not only be great for business, but also promote bicycling. I agree Cambridge Street could use more bike racks on both sides.

Thanks for your request! We will evaluate this location within the next few weeks and post updates here. Please note that sites for bike racks can be limited on narrow sidewalks due to the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirement that a sufficient walkway be left open for people with disabilities. If we find a suitable location for bike racks they should be installed this fall or next spring.

A locations for 1 bike rack has been identified on Norfolk St and is marked on the sidewalk with a white dot. This racks will be installed within 6-12 months. If you wish to inquire further, please email bikerack@cambridgema.gov.
