The left turn lane from E Jackson St onto N 7th St has painted arrows indicating a left turn, but not indicating that continuing to travel straight is permitted. There are also no signs indicating whether this is a left turn only or combination turn and straight lane. The lack of proper indication causes confusion at the intersection, as cars in the right lane are expecting the cars in the left lane to turn left, so they can change lanes to turn left at the next intersection. Often times the cars in the left lane are ignoring the painted arrows, and continuing straight. This causes the potential for accidents to occur here, if they haven't already. I recommend either adding the word "ONLY" below the left turn arrows, or adding the straight part of the arrow to the lane for proper indication. This intersection does not allow right turns, as 7th is a one-way street, so the left lane most likely should be a "left turn ONLY" lane, given the flow of traffic here, allowing only the right lane to continue straight.
