Immediately, the city and the businesses on Cambridge Park Drive should subsidize express MBTA bus service from the Alewife MBTA station to and from suburban hub locations where their employees are coming from. That won't take years of planning and construction. Immediately, the city, the state, and the businesses on Cambridge Park Drive should sit down with the MBTA to jointly fund an Alewife commuter rail stop to be built ASAP. Finding a way to get rush hour traffic off Cambridge Park Drive faster will just slow traffic even more on the Alewife and Fresh Pond Parkways. The solution to grid-lock isn't more, bigger roads or better timed traffic lights, it's fewer cars on the road.

The other issue is the crosswalk on CambridgePark Drive across the street from the L wife train station. People walking across the crosswalk during a greenlight at the main intersection really messes things up and hold up traffic bad
