I am a resident at 122 South Laurel Street. The alleyway behind me, Green Alley and its branch, is in total disrepair.
The asphalt that was laid previously has completely eroded away, and the entire alley is full of potholes.
There are approximately 20 potholes of various sizes; the largest being four feet across and four inches deep.
I have personally experienced minor damage to my vehicle from this road, and I am aware of at least two other cases from neighbors whose houses back onto Green Alley.
This is a serious concern, especially with an increase in rainfall over the spring and summer months. This will only get worse over time, until a vehicle is significantly damaged or a person is injured.

I wish to reopen this issue because not ALL of the potholes have been fixed. Green Alley is a T-shaped alleyway. Only Green Alley itself was repaired.
HOWEVER, the segment of road between Green Alley and Cumberland Street has been unrepaired and is by far the most in need.
The asphalt is non-existent and now the sediment is further eroding making the potholes back there larger as time goes on.
As I said before, this is a serious concern. With an increase of storms as strong as we experienced just last week, this will only get worse over time, until a vehicle is significantly damaged or a person is injured.
