Perhaps you could have a meeting or contact your city counsel representative to discuss this matter. Or create a community watch group to call police or document the severity of the people for provide with your council representative! Maybe speak with the local police representatives to discuss further actions that can be done by those who live in the area and/or increased patrols by officers.

We have discussed this issue with the city, the police and even Counselormember McDougal. We have security cameras that have captured police driving by and ignoring illegal parking and fishing. I appreciate you understanding my frustration. People fishing has caused a build up of litter in and around the pond which is affecting our personal property. This and the increasung noise is causing a decline in our quality of life.

This is another example of people blatantly ignoring signs. This vehicle is parked NEXT to a no parking sign.

Tiffany, we are in the process of contacting reporters to expose the city's lack of enforcement. Additionally, my husband has established a public social media site to upload all security footage. He will be going to community meetings with flyers to hand out so other citizens can post their concerns. Eventually, the city will be embarrassed enough to do their jobs or at the very least, council members will not be so easily re-elected. If the city wants to claim the title of All American City then it needs to start being proactive in being the All American City.

We've found that there are No Trespassing Agreements, and the property owner who is responsible for the pond can fill out an application, and can take pictures of signs posted up, to include registering the No Trespassing posters and pictures. Also, 911 Dispatch can be contacted whenever suspicious activity is ongoing. This way patrol can immediately be dispatched. If the Officer does not have an agreement, in order to arrest anyone on site for Trespassing, enforcement is limited. If the property owner does not state that Trespassing is not occurring, and an Officer arrests someone at a lake or pond, then persons involved could try to sue. There would be no right to arrest. The individual can be asked to leave, but may come back. I have forwarded your concerns to the Police Department.
