Sidewalk repair issues can be reported to the DPW Street Engineering Division: 313 224-3925
When sidewalk repair is scheduled, Street Engineering works closely with Forestry to resolve any tree issues.

Thank you for submitting your concern to the City of Detroit. This message is to acknowledge receipt of the issue you reported. Sidewalk repair is not under the jurisdiction of the Forestry Division. You must contact Street Engineers Division at 313.224.3945 this is their jurisdiction. If the Engineers need Forestry to remove this tree they will make that request to Forestry.
