There was a leak in my bathroom shower coming from upstairs shower since I moved in 12/2014. finally after leak continued to get worse landlord addressed the issue this month 12/2016. She fixed the leak and had the ceiling tile re-grouted. I was told by the tile worker that he discovered that my shower ceiling has structural damage due to leak being unfixed for so long and the ceiling can and will collapse at any time. He told my landlord that and she told him she will not fix the ceiling and to just apply new grout. The worker told me privately that as the wood starts to dry out from leak I can expect ceiling to buckle and come crashing down at any time. I have two small kids here as well and I am concerned for our safety.
