The fence provides the required safety for the users on the multiuse trail. Staff observed the site and concluded that the average driver can see oncoming vehicles above the tops of the fence without having to pull up beyond an appropriate distance. I understand the reasoning behind the placement of the fencing, but they are not placed only any other sidewalks in Dunwoody, just this short section, so I respectfully disagree with your findings. If a person leaving the apartment complex is in a small (low to the ground) vehicle, it is almost impossible to see over, around or through the fence.
