Too many rodent sightings on Magazine and in the neighborhood to be considered random or isolated.

Inspector Tuccinardi found no violations upon inspection. There was an issue closed in November 2015 and they were told to stop feeding the birds.

Bird feeding may have been a source of food but there is a rat problem in the neighborhood that, I think, will not be eliminated by this action.

The tenant is still feeding the birds in the side yard between 59 and 63 magazine st . Using suet feeders from window and at ground level. Also, at times feeding with moldy English muffins and other food scraps on window sill , whole oranges stuck on plants and stakes and other food discarded from 2nd floor window . This encourages rats to feed in early mornings and evenings .

Thanks following up on this complaint again. As of
5/ 20. Bird feeders and suet are still being used on the ground level and on window sill. I have rodent dropping on my side of the fence near the feeders . How has this been resolved ?

It is not yet "resolved". We have a code case on it and will continue to follow up and enforce. Unfortunately people sometimes don't comply immediately.
