We need a commitment to action by the city to address this issue. We DO enjoy the park, we'd just enjoy it more if the issue raised here was taken seriously.

Team- this weekend will bring a huge amount of use at the park, it would be a FANTASTIC time to try out having additional temporary refuse bins throughout the park.
I'll be happy to add additional photos to document the impact either way.

This request has been reviewed by the department and there is no need to place more trash receptacles within this area. However the crew responsible for this park will empty them more frequently. Thank you.

It's up to the city, but I can't see how that makes *any* financial sense to pay parks crew overtime & holiday pay instead of temporarily placing additional trash bins during high traffic times int the parks. Reopened until we get a commitment to weekend and holiday work from the city in lieu of additional bins.
