I am not the official spokesperson here, but my educated guess is the home is in foreclosure and abandoned The lender must board it up. I don't know what the town can do to force someone to "clean it up". Foreclosures take time for lots of reasons. It will eventually be foreclosed and sold or sold before foreclosure and your neighborhood will be all for the better afterwards. It was once a lovely home and hopefully will be again. This house and the owners were "victims" (not really victims) of the recent real estate mess.

Thanks Naj. Yes that was a lovely home once. And if foreclosed on that is a shame. I fell bad for the home ownersowners. But the town still has not said that. They dance around the question I asked.
