Description
There's a loading zone on Hampshire St in Inman Square, but any sort of truck using it renders the bicycle lane useless. Yes, you're going to tell me to call the cops and have them deal with it. Sure, that's great for this one truck, but how do we fix the underlying problem? We can't have CPD responding to every last truck, calling them means that the roadway is poorly designed and needs to be fixed. This is a poor place for a loading zone, we cannot have a loading zone that allows part of the road to be blocked off. I'd like to see this loading zone either removed, restricted to vans, or potentially some of the sidewalk taken to ensure it is wide enough for a truck to safely use without impeding the flow of traffic.
