Description
We have two alligators in the canal/lake. They have eaten many ducks and do not seem to be afraid of people. I see small children playing near the water on the park side often and think that there should be warning signs until they can be captured. Animal control has been called

With regards to your e-mail, we contacted the South Florida Water Management District via telephone #(954)452-4814 as they are responsible for the maintenance of the C-10 canal.
We spoke with Mr. Massa who requested that we forward your concerns to him for their investigation and response. I have copied Mr. Massa in this e-mail for ease of follow-up.
Thank you for advising us of your concerns and requesting that signage be installed advising the neighborhood that alligators have been seen in the canal. We have asked Mr. Massa to let us know the outcome as well.
Respectfully,
