Description

A couple of weeks ago I reported a really serious mail delivery issue to the main post office on Brewery St . I asked to speak to the postmaster but was given a supervisor instead. The supervisor promised me a call back within 48 hours - that was two weeks ago and I have received no call. I have tried to reach the postmaster but am honestly beginning to wonder if this person even exists. The phone numbers for him and for his secretary are never answered, they always go to voicemail and only one of those takes new voicemails. I've completely lost faith in the postal service. Like an idiot, I called the national customer service line - that was a huge mistake. The person I talked to actually scared me he was so creepy and insulting. I wish I could roll back the clock two weeks ago when I still had some semblance of innocence vis a vis the postal service. If that guy who answered the phone on the national number represents the postal service of the future, we're in trouble. I just want them to deliver my mail and tell me why they stopped and started returning everything to sender with yellow stickers. They refuse to tell me - they just won't tell me what is going on. I feel like I am in the twilight zone with these people. I am on the verge of crying - I mean, they are just taking my mail and refusing to tell me why -- it's that simple and that awful. What the heck should I do? I talked to the postal inspector - at least they were brainy and nice and proper in every way, but they handle fraud and crimes, not this.
