Every month we have to jockey our cars in fear of being towed so the city can "sweep the streets". It never seems any cleaner. What's the point besides generating revenue from towing cars?

The point is to clean leaves and trash off the streets. If you've had your basement flood because a storm drain was clogged with leaves you'd understand.
