Here is the exact location of the damaged tree, however the cutting continues along the whole edge of the field. 35.765580, -78.656520

To be more specific regarding my complaint I will elaborate: I am objecting to the brutal "rotary mower trimming" of the trees along the edge of the field. To keep trees healthy it is necessary to make clean cuts to branches near where they join the larger trunk. Not only is this "mower trimming" damaging to the trees it is very unsightly.

Joseph. You are assuming that this is a city issue. The property is maintained by both the city and state. We will look into this and get back with you.

This was City work. Staff use a mower along the wood line to manage encroaching vegetation and vines. Ideally, this would not impact larger trees but in this case it appears to have done so. Staff have gone back out and corrected this.
