Thank you for your comment. It would have been really nice if you had been polite about it. I use Burbank occasionally and often get stuck in a line waiting for ages to get that green light to proceed left onto Sheppard. There's enough traffic at the Sheppard - Burbank corner to warrant it changing automatically every few minutes. I am in small town San Clemente at the moment where the main street can get very clogged during the day, especially on the weekends when tourists arrive. The lights change for the cross street traffic quite often, but only for about ten seconds. it keeps traffic moving and no one has to wait too long.
