Negative grade on the home's north side, causing water retention and flooding, causing harm to that home. and in turn has caused past infiltration into my home. The swale excavation on the adjacent (3802) seems to have stemmed the issue, however, repeated complaints to city officials went unheeded, resulting in the stockade fence installed atop the improper 3806 grade. See Cleveland Codified Ordinance Chapter 3125, Ohio Administrative Code 4101:1-18 sec. 1804.3 site grading & 4101 8-1-01 sec. 113.2 maintenance.

My issue of improper storm water drainage and management is one that plagues the City of Cleveland, see online “Unhealthy Homes.” To all whom may be thinking about buying a home in Cleveland beware it’s Building and Housing Division including the kangaroo court of Board of Building Standards. In my opinion, the name of the game is, do nothing and be as ignorant, belligerent, obtuse as you feel and never enforce code that will tread on the slum landlords, (especially the ones that own the majority of half the city’s housing stock) or any code enfraction that is the city’s responsibility to resolve.
I’m being told to sue the city to resolve the issue and the FBI despite it Public Corruption division that according to its previous home web site posting stated that when public servants collude and refuse to take action to resolve issues to protect property and lives it’s a crime.
