Yes it is on public property.

This is located at the waybright school...there are several more spots of graffiti written on the ground and school building. There is also a huge burn hole in the slide and 4 swings are broken. There are many water trenches that have been created due to heavy rain, these are locatedh in active playing/running area where the children play,any child running thru these areas can easily fall and get hurt. There were drug baggies and syringe covers found in the area. There were soiled boys underwear with many hard liquor/beer bottles all around. The railroad ties along the permiter of the play ground are rotten and are breaking down causing the ground to become unstable. The brush needs to be cut along the whole back side of of the school.....this school needs a ton of attention on the outside property. It would be great to see some dept in Town take responsibility for up keep of the grounds.

Due to my work schedule I do not get to the school often (my husband does most of the drop offs and pick ups) but when I was there last week there was a broken beer bottle in the middle of a major walk way. Please help us take better care of the school for the safety of the children. Thank you!

I agree with what people have mentioned above. I know I don't know everything, but I don't understand why when someone calls with a complaint about our schools it can't be taken care of right away? In the long run it would save the town some money because you would be cleaning one thing at a time as opposed to cleaning and fixing ALL the problems at once. If something doesn't start getting done now before you know it the outside of the school will be condemned . Lets not forget who plays in that school yard most of the year our 5 to 11 year old CHILDREN!!!
