The recycle bin and Granger are still left in the street all the time. This is an interference if the snow plow or street cleaner come through.

A letter was sent to the property owner concerning the bins.

The letter did not work or she does not care. The Granger bin is still sitting in the street all the time, and she lets her children take the trash out to it and get in the street to throw it in the bin.

She still continues to leave the bin in the street & piles it up with trash. She had it so high the last few weeks the bags have been falling out all around the bin. Then animals get it them and trash is all over the neighbors yards. She never picks it up. She also has a bunch of junk thrown all over her drive way. It is bad enough to have a condemned house next to her then she just leaves her trash all over the neighborhood. This is wrong & no one seems to care enough to make her stop doing it. So the city sent her letters, which has not worked. Have they drove over and looked at the mess?

Maybe if she received a fine for littering she would stop and think about leaving it out there and letting the trash pile up and blow all over the neighborhood.

Code Compliance has sent out a letter and August 12th. By ordinance the property owner is given seven days to comply and property is reinspected. If it is not taken care the City will have their contractors clean up the site and the property owner will be billed for the work. Because this the three offense even if the owner cleans up the property they will be charged $75.00.

The bin issue is better, but now there is trash on the porch and junk in driveway and yard.

The Granger is now been in front of the house in the street for 2 weeks and is over flowing since it has not been picked up.

I reached out to Granger and they are working with the customer to get this matter taken care by Friday.

She also has her recycle bin in the street & now has filled the recycle bin from the abandon & stickered house next door and place in front of that house, the address is 1517 Pattengill Ave. 1515 also has trash & junk thrown in the drive way and back yard.

I was not having luck with this website, but I did have luck by contacting Lansing Code Compliance. Their number is 483-4361

Code Compliance sent a letter to the property owner and it has not been corrected so this has been turned over to the contractor to clean up and should be done by the end of the week.
