To NCDOT,
We (living people) have lot issues with the Church Street/McCrimmon Parkway intersection Traffic lights in peak hours. as of now it is yield and go left towards Chapel Hill. I would suggest please keep dedicated left turn for traffic coming from Key Stone towards Chapel hill Road. Because traffic coming from opposite side is more and we need to wait at least 20 to 30 mints to take left turn towards Chapel Hill. I hope some one from NCDOT will take actions as soon as possible and add Dedicated Left Turn Traffic Light @ Church Street/McCrimmon Parkway intersection.
Thanks
Dileep

Traffic signal is too short for traffic turning left from eastbound Church Street toward Chapel Hill Rd (54) during morning rush hour (8:30-9:30am). I have sat through 8 red lights to turn left toward Chapel Hill Rd (54) and everyone in line basically ends up have to run the yellow lights to ever make the turn. Cars coming from Davis Dr and the other direction of Church Street turn right, block the intersections. We need someone directing traffic that is able to see the Left turn lane on Church Street not moving.
On the other hand going in the opposite direction on Church Street through the Keystone neighborhood, traffic is backed up on Hopson turning right toward Chapel Hill. Traffic is backed up from Davis Drive to Chapel Hill. Not to mention you all are redirecting traffic through a residential neighborhood that parks on the street (not smart).
Stop allowing new construction in this area until you are able to hire proper PMP certified project managers to address the current traffic pattern issues.
