Dear C. Jones, we appreciate your reporting this issue to the D.O.T. The tangle of road responsibilities is frustrating, since in this case it's doubtful that the state agency will pay much attention to an ugly side-of-highway messy pothole in Decatur. Is there any way the state could assign the task to Decatur Public Works, or is that too much to hope for? We're confident that our Decatur professionals would have an easy and effective repair accomplished quickly. Is there anything we as citizens can do to advance progress? I did talk to someone at DOT and they said someone would look at this ,hopefully resolve this, lets give them a chance.

Clairemont Avenue is a State Route which the Georgia Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining the road and right of way.
I have contacted GDOT (404.631.1990) and reported the issue regarding Claiermont Avenue at Garden Lane.
