I've reported this area many times and the city of everett only chooses to patch up the smaller potholes. The entire 2nd Street needs replacement from the Chelsea/Everett line to the rt 16 intersection.
The 2nd Street/Rt16 @ the car wash needs to be patched up AGAIN.

thanks for your input (anonymous). My thought was when funding was going to come in for the Casino that it would pay to get this fix...but that's been suspended. I'm just worried that an 18 wheeler is going to ignore the safety of citizens on this stretch of road and barrel into someone, not to mention the amount of people riding bicycles down this stretch of road. It's a hazard for everyone.

There are numerous potholes that aren't addresses at this area next to train tracks. At least go down and check it out because someone's 18 wheeler went over one a it blew out with rubber shooting in several directions. Not safe at all.

Any word on this at all ? The area near the train tracks has worsened and I'm hoping this isn't addressed at all until a fatal accident occurs.

I guess its fine if they ignore the issue until a truck comes barreling out from Market Street and veer from a major pothole and kills me head on. I'm hoping they hear my plea to shut down at least this section of road ASAP between Boston Street and Market Street or Chelsea Line to have it completely re-done. The fact that they can't have 800 feet of solid, well constructed road makes me think the city is bankrupt or they simply just don't want to do it.

It was NOT resolved....so don't be naive and close it. It least give a good reason like we can't do it. That would at least be respectful.
