Description

Trash, furniture, garbage and debris fill this city owned lot. Additionally, there is a storage container owned by the Maze Group Development Inc sitting on the lot. Trash is routinely strewn on top of and in back of this container. The lot is also overgrown, creating a breeding ground for vermin and disease. No child should ever have to live this way.

Temple students throw there trash there. Students are moving out and in for the new semester. Seems like the city treats them differently then the homeowners who have been living here for years. They put out trash days before trash day. They dont even get fined. Lady who rides around the area che3cking trash. Do your damn job. Okay.

Marjorie - I'm so sorry that this is happening. The students should not litter and need to respect the neighborhood and their neighbors. For the well being of the neighborhood as a whole, the city needs do its job and not allow developers to keep containers on city owned lots without maintaining the lot. I called last Spring to get the graffiti removed from the container and now I see it is painted over in gray (which is better than before). If you see the vacant lots with trash all over it pls call (215) 686-8686 and report that lots 1702, 1704, 1706, 1708, 1710 all on West Norris St. need to be cleaned up. You will receive a tracking number for each address. You probably know this but just in case. If there is anything I can do on my end to help please let me know. Thanks - Cathy
