On Baltimore Pike the two traffic lights across from the Springfield Mall constantly turn red even after 12AM when there are no vehicles trying to enter onto Baltimore Pike. With today's advanced technology which is used at other intersections throughout Delco such as heat-sensing or light-sensing, if these lights were upgraded the vehicles traveling east-west on Baltimore Pike would not have to stop causing less polution and savings on fuel and energy. And folks like me could get to work sooner or get home sooner. Thank you.

Can I just say that I regularly try to enter on Baltimore pike at that intersection between 12am and 3am?

I agree but the reason they are that way is keep people from doing a 1,000 MPH down Baltimore pike whihc you know they will.

What do you mean by a timer? If it's what I think it is then that would explain the traffic engineers disregard for human traffic flow.

I beg to differ band of skulls. I wish what you said was in fact reality. It is NOT. I went by the same two lights( and now also the light at the Blue Route entrance) yesterday night and I was completely intercepted by two of the three lights without any other vehicles trying to enter onto Baltimore Pike. The T I M E R needs help. It's not doing its job. At least not in a way that serves the public's best interests.

Lights on Baltimore Pike from the Mall to the Blue route are in need of adjusting by the agency that our taxes fund so that travel times by late night commuters can be less interrupted by non-sensical stopping and more fuel efficient.
