How about just drive by the address for yourself and see what the neighborhood has been putting up with for 2 years? How many of your friends or relatives or friends of friends were affected directly or indirectly by the documented sale of crack cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, etc. sold at this house blatantly? If there is illegal activity going on in the neighborhood in question it should be reported directly to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. 082012

It has been...for 2 years. Some arrests have been made. People are living there without a lease or what most of the neighborhood believes to be, a legal right to be there. PCSO says it is a civil matter. So I guess "squatters" have more rights than law-abiding citizens. And if this is the case and littering, and destroying the yard and house are not criminal and enforceable by law, then ALL the homeless in Pinellas County should scurry to every foreclosing home and set up shop. All they have to do is have a piece of mail addressed to them and bring over some possessions. According to squatters rights and current eviction laws, this appears to be the case. THIS PROPERTY NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP AND A LIEN PUT ON THE SO-CALLED OWNER, SCOTT WELTMER, WHO ALSO HAS PROPERTY AT 1932 N. BETTY LANE (THE ONE WITH THE DEAD RATS AND OPEN SEWER) - A $455 LIEN WAS PUT ON HIM FOR THAT AND ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS A GUY USED A WEEDEATER ON THE GRASS FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES. THE COUNTY HAS A RIGHT AND RESPONSIBILITY TO DO THIS, AND SHOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING AS LONG AS TWO YEARS AGO, AS IT HAS BEEN ONGOING!!! IF THE WORKERS ARE AFRAID OF THE GUYS WHO HANG OUT AROUND THERE, THEN HAVE PCSO COOPERATE AND STAND BY! IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AS WELL! THIS IS A DISGRACE TO PINELLAS COUNTY!
