Our Water Quality section tried to make contact to the resident at 3403 N Broad Place, and we also tried to call the number that was listed on the sign inside the front door but it is disconnected. We have not received any other complaints about water discoloration or any other types of water quality calls around this area. We do regular flushing in our water distribution system, which helps to keep the cleanest water available to our customers. Sometimes, water inside the home becomes discolored because of old deteriorated galvanized piping from the meter to the house and throughout the house. The locate feature chose the address across the street. I'm at 3404 N Broad PL. This is not an isolated matter, and it's not internal to our home. It happens every time a fire hydrant is opened (as I've been told in the past by HU) too quickly, as is the case when the FD opens one for a fire.

Our Water Quality and Water Operations employees have made contact with the resident at 3404 N. Broad Place. We flushed the water main and we have created a maintenance ticket for more work next week. Weather permitting, this issue will be resolved by the end of the week, and we will not close this ticket until he issue is resolved.
