Description

Debris in old pipes causes yellow/rusty water when disturbed by opened fire hydrants. Almost weekly our water turns yellow. It takes days for it to clear up, or clears immediately if the city releases water until clear from neighboring hydrants. So much water is wasted during this process, which takes around 10 minutes. The powerful stream of water damages lawns, plants, and displaces dirt around nearby street lamps. Could we please get a permanent solution by pipe replacement? We shouldn't have to forgo drinking, bathing in, and washing white clothes in dirty (and possibly dangerous) water on a regular basis. Thank you.
